• Presented on acute ischemic stroke, community and hospital-acquired bacterial meningitis and ventriculitis, anti-epileptic drugs, and native vertebral osteomyelitis.

• Presented on the article “Cefepime is Associated with Acute Encephalopathy in Critically Ill Patients,” following a discussion on the results of the study and its implications on clinical practice.

• Rounded with the epilepsy, stroke, and psychiatric teams and made medication recommendations.

• Researched and discussed the COVID-19 Delta Variant, the Alzheimer’s drug Aduhelm, metformin and longevity, ischemic strokes, treatment of HIV, B-vitamins, and antibiotics.
• Participated with other healthcare professionals in an interdisciplinary setting to guide medication therapy and optimize patient care.
• Guided and managed patient therapies through medication reviews and counseled patients to optimize patient-centered care plans.

• Became competent in the treatment of breast cancer by gaining knowledge on current evidence-based guidelines, patient chart reviews, interviewing and counseling patients, and rounding with the medical team.

• Assisted in the medication management of heart failure patients in an outpatient setting.
